Hail and well met potential readers! My name is Tim Yockey and I wanted to begin a blog about all things nerdy. Today was a great example of what I have to bring to the table in that I watched the new Game of Thrones when I woke up, played Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from full charge to flashing red on my 3ds for the late morning/afternoon period, and plan on hunting some more monsters once I finish writing this. Or maybe i'll go back to playing Etrian Odyssey 4...decisions decisions.
While I am writng this I am listening to the soundtrack for Dark Souls, which I absolutely adore. I am considering watching the next Ova for Hellsing Ultimate, as I just acquired volumes 1-4 on Blu-Ray. I've only seen volumes 1 and 2 so far, but I own the entire manga series as well as the tv series on dvd so I know I'll eat up everything being thrown at me.
Currently I am juggling Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the 3ds, Etrian Odyssey 4 on the 3ds, God of War Saga on the Playstation 3, replaying Persona 4 on the Vita, playing Ni No Kuni with my girlfriend on the Ps3, and once I find a way to free up space to uncover my 360 I look forward to replaying Metal Gear Solid 2 and finally playing 3/Peacewalker.
I aim to cover things a nerd or Philadelphian would appreciate in this blog. This could include anime, video games, music, movies, comics and places to visit in the Philadelphia/outside Philadelphia area. As this goes on I aim to expand on this project vastly, including more creative ventures like short stories and if I find the time and effort to do so, maybe even create a webcomic!
